Affordable and very feature rich EMS for Porsche - VEMS
I can offer engine management systems for Porsches, both plug and play and wire in ones. VEMS works perfectly with any original 911 crank trigger (3.2 dual VR ones with 129+1 teeth, 964/993 60-2 etc) or with aftermarket one, no issues with signal or noise.
Here's my FB page, check out the photos etc: www.facebook.com/vemsporsche Of course, every VEMS I sell comes with a tuned map so you can at least get your car started without issues and usually runs very well without any significant effort. fine-tuning fuel tables with autotune would be necessary most likely, very easy to do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7fyfhY_FhI ![]() ![]()

Nice work, I will be building a VEMS COP system this winter for my 930.

Very nice looking system.
What COP elements does this use? I assume they are Smart coils and you are sending logic level signals.

These are VAG COP units, from 6.0 W12/4.0 W8 engine. There are several types (and two different pinouts), they differe in length. But all of them have igniters so they need logic-level signal. But +5v TTL level is not enough, these coils have quite low impedance (less than 400 Ohms) and they work best with +12v signalling.

You mean VAG coils? On my 924 2.5 16v Turbo I have 500+ hp at 1.4 bars (~450-460 at 1.2 bars) and so far they have worked without any issues... That is around 125hp per cylinder which would translate to 750 hp on 911 engine... I would say it is enough
![]() here's a vid of my 924 running at 1.2 bars, no need for AWD :P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWPbABZsVVU

Decoding the 3.2 flywheel is a huge sell IMO!

Yes, it works perfectly, as with 944 130+1 and 944 Turbo 132+1 wheels.
I have made several 3.2 PnP versions, both with adapter loom and VEMS units with 35pin Motronic connector. Adapter loom allows for easier upgrades, servicing etc but Motronic VEMS is very clean install.

![]() I got it back about 3-4 weeks ago (I was in no rush). New billet compressor wheel (GTX profile), shaft, bearings and balance. $650 I have piston slap to deal with first.

930 requires converting to EFI first, easiest way is to use 3.2 intake manifold but that means you need to port match the heads. 3.2 Carrera is available as plug and play, either with adapter harness or straight Motronic VEMS.

Yes, a 930.
I will source injector blocks myself and use the pancake manifold.

If engine is already "EFI'ed", then it would be ~1200 euros for VEMS ECU+new engine harness+WBo2 sensor.
