drove her like I stole her

Most of you guys no me and my car by now. 3.5l ,964 cams, GT35, Full headers and flow thru exhaust, EFI and full bay Bell intercooler, 16lbs boost.
Well I just had the valves adjusted and found some air leeks on my throttle body, fixed them. So I decided to take her for a agressive ride. Mannnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!! she is just plain out FLYING. The EFI, new intercooler and 16lbs of boost from the GT35 has just turned my car in to a DREAM. Can you love anything anymore....

I know and I'm sorry Rawk. I know you're particularly troubled by this one since she left you at the altar...

Sorry for hijacking your thread, John.

Yes, you are going to have some fun with that, now! Its going to be a bit, time wise, but wait until the air temp gets to about 40 degrees. That thing is going to fly even faster! Congrats on getting that puppy all together and sorted! And no, not with your clothes on!

The upgrade you have done really transform these engines.

Just had mine to the track, and always love to outrun GT2/3.

Had a comment from a 997 turbo owner "spotted you old porsche, and thought finally a car I can keep up with - but man, that was a rocket" :-)

Throw some big port SC heads or 3.2's on with a 3.2 intake!! That's be another leap in power!

I'll stop.......

It's just a matter of time until he gets used to the new power or gets smoked by a newer car and it will feel slow again. Then the next "up-grade" is right around the corner. Eventually it will be an over powered PIAT to drive and he'll sell it for cheap wishing he would have left it stock.

Of course I've never done that to a car

I have done alot of self tuning. Nothing up top, saving that for the dyno. A/F are all good.
I don't think I am going to go the next step in power. It is fast enough for me. Maybe I am getting old (51), my 25 yr old son thinks I should tune it for more boost. I say slow down young buck, Its pretty nasty right now. I don't need 600rwhp. Plus its a cab, so I don't think the chasis will hold much more... I really need to go the next level in suspension. Next winters project.

Here's a vid on me rolling over 1st and getting up to 120. Who's the dumb ass with the video camera on his head. lol

Now that I think about it. I have to ask Henry at Supertec performance. He build my motor. I don't think I have 3.3 turbo heads. He designed my motor. It is 3.5 liters and I no I have 3.6 turbo Pistons and cylinders. He recommended the 3.5 l to me.
