Front bumper beam compatability...

Just a quick question...I've recently been hit in the 930 and am looking to replace my front bumper beam...Are beams without the holes for headlight washer nozzles the same as those with them? I really don't care to have them. My 1986 has them, but I've found a couple nice replacements w/o, suitable for 87-89 turbos...Thanks in advance for the input, I'd look myself but am at work and impatient...In return, I "promise" a full tech article on the topic of "headlight washer nozzle delete"!!!
