Throttle shaft bushings
Anyone know the location of all three of these plastic bushings? I found the 2 by the shifter and the parking brake, can't seem to find the 3rd one.
Thanks |

There is the linkage arrangement right off the trans on the drivers side, takes 2 bushings there.
Then there is the linkage arrangement on the top of the engine near the triangle of death, takes 2 there as well. Mark |

Is it possible these are the two you have found and one more near the rear bulkhead where the cable exits the pan? Not sure as I have not pulled my throttle cable before, but the schematic looks that way to me.

Looking at the exploded view, it looks like #13's are the rubber grommets for sealing/supporting the throttle cable as it passes alone the pan tunnel. The #12 is the dust/water boot where the cable exits the pan, right above the torsion bar housing tube in the rear.
The pivot shaft bushings for the gas pedal assembly are #28 at the pedal assembly drawing. The lowest drawing is from the transfer position at the tranny on the drivers side. Mark |
