Very nice, 951 is a helluva car. Not maintenance-friendly (clutch job is awful), but oh so good in every other way.

Like for all of us, age is marching forward at a relentless speed. Proof of that is in what follows...
This car is now my daily driver, and a direct replacement for the '08 G37S coupe I bought in a moment of udder stupefied-retarded-rationalized thinking, telling myself that it was a good alternative for my 930 as a daily driver. Further rationalization was that the 930 is just too low and worth too much money, to risk it anymore just to go to the office. Too many cell phone users/texting/idiots out there these days. So in a moment of lucidity, my mind flashed on a 951 as a better daily choice. Sure it's not a 930, but it is fun, it is a real car made of steel, held together with bolts {not plastic parts with plastic push-pins for connectors} and it is cool . So here it is, and the G is up for sale. Some young "tuner" type will be thrilled to own it, and I'll be thrilled to be rid of it. So back to Raw's comment....we'll see.... I'm not promising that I have any ability to not grab a sled and start down that slippery slope, but I'm presently resisting. But like the line from an old show goes...."Resistance is futile".....:} Mark |

A lot of car for the money. And simply timeless design, looks that really stand out even today IMO. |
Have you done a tbelt on a Ferrari or Lancia? They take PITA to another level.

Major service on a Testarossa. Awful. Basically unbolt the back half of the car and separate into 2 pieces. Clutch on a 348 wasn't so bad, but I imaging belts would be a major PITA. |

The delta Integrale I didn't know I had to drop the transfer case first. I did it outside with floor jacks and hand tools. Not fun.
