Timely thread!

My car is also missing this bracket...

Oddly, it has a heavy custom made exhaust, as my 930 has a 965 rear bumper... The exhaust is heavy steel, and that has a bracket that mounts to the motor...

Serves the same purpose I suppose...

The muffler is hard mounted, and supports the turbo...

Trick. You probably only need the top one with that setup.

With only one of those turnbuckles the turbo will swing fore and aft and rattle around I would think.

IDK. I looks cool, but hiem joints allow movement and the point of the support is to stop movement. It's probably fine.

How many miles with that setup?

All you really have to do is take the weight off the headers.

Wouldn't this fit any turbo, as the location of the turbo mounting flange off of the header does not change, and most of the time remains consistent???

I like that, simple and works. I don't see it on his site, is it a special order?

No, not special order, just not up on the site yet. Maybe this week. Too many car builds in process...
We have made them for the 1976-83, 1984-89, 1991-92, and 1994 models.
As long as the turbo is still K27/T3 flanged, it works.

No miles yet. The car is an ongoing project that is taking WAY too long. I had two turnbuckles left over when I freshened my SRP anti roll bars, and this looked like a good experiment. It will keep the weight of the turbo/header supported, and allow for a bit of thermal movement (although triangulated like that, there isn't much opportunity for movement I bet). At least that's my story... plus the yellow matches nicely with the WEVO engine mounts. Oh yeah. Color-coordinated. Yup!
