Do you think that my struts are cooked

Hi guys,

I'm rebulding my front axel unit.

I was wondering if my struts are good enougth to continue a little bit or not?

There is a little gap which I can fell with my nail?

Thanks a lot .

Have a nice day.

Hi,

I measure the spindles with a micrometer for accuracy.

If the bearing surfaces are damaged, worn or otherwise not round, the strut should be replaced.

Are you thinking that is a crack? Kind of hard to tell in your picture. Maybe a couple more close up shots of the area may help us evaluate.

Thanks for your inputs guys. I just made a mistake by openning this thread here.

By the way, I reopened it there .

I will post more picture. It's not a crack. It's worn out.
