3liter cylinders to bigger bore?

Can 3liter cylinders be bored out to take 98mm pistons?

General rule of thumb is that the SC cylinders should not be bored to 98 mm because the inner ridge of the CE seal groove becomes too thin. The 3.2 cylinders are usually a better choice as they do not have the CE groove.

I do have a set of the 98 mm cylinders available should you need them.
