996 crankcase sealant application

Hi

Page 89 of the 911 Carrera (996) Group 1 work shop manual has a diagram which specifies where the Drei Bond sealant is to be applied to crankcase half 4 - 6. This diagram differs from the one on page 232.

Does anyone know which diagram is correct for a 2003 996 3.6 litre engine.

Aside from that both diagrams are a bit fuzzy. Maybe there is a better copy on line somewhere ?

Thanks

The manual set I have specifies on page 10-54:

Only "Drei Bond silicone type 1209" and "Loctite 5900" should be used for surface sealing. After application of surface seals (silicone bead), screw together within five minutes.

I used Loctite 5900, worked quickly to get the bead laid down and the halves assembled within 5 minutes and didn't have any issues with case leaks.
