964 3.6 head stud projection - left vs right

I'm getting ready to put my 3.6 engine back together. When I dismantled it, I measured the head stud projections. The 1 to 3 side studs were 129 mm. The 4 to 6 side studs were 134 mm. What is up with this? I have a bootleg copy of the 964 workshop manual I downloaded somehow, but the drawings and tables are ambiguous.

Think about it, research it.
The same studs were used on 2.0 through 3.2
There is no separate studs for 3.6 but the same old style, using the same depth.

Don't over complicate this.

Measure the cylinder height, base gasket thickness if any used and from the washer platform in the head down to the cylinder face. Then measure the nut (thread engagement) plus 2 threads out of the nut. Add all together and this is the height you need the studs to project.
