Replacing barrels and pistons so I am going to have to re time it and can't find a block and gauge package in stock in the UK. Dave |

All you need is a dial indicator with some way, like a magnetic base, to hold it in position. Not expensive, and assuming you will be keeping the car, you will probably need it again. You may even need the dial indicator for other operations on your build.

These tools aren't expensive, at least not in the US. The digital dial indicator I bought for $75 10 years ago is now about $35. A Z block can't be expensive, lasts forever, and you could make your own if you can weld, have a drill press or just drill, and some taps.

Any luck finding a local guy to lend you the tools? I contacted a British guy who used to live in US near me and now back in UK. Awaiting for his reply and will forward it to you. Tony |

No luck yet mate. I know they aren't expensive but trying to find someone with the Z block has been impossible so far
