Which O2 Sensor should I install?

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 85 930 engine. While I'm at it, there will be a new set of B&B headers installed as part of the upgrade. Since there is no emission control system on the 85's, I was wondering which sensor would provide me with the most tuning benefit. I'm looking for something that will interface with the sensor and provide a very accurate A/F ratio at various states of engine load. As a little bit of insurance, an Andial Fuel enrichment circuit is being installed.
TIA

Dave

A "normal" O2 sensor isn't really usable for tuning. You need a wide band O2 sensor. Until recently, these were very expensive. Check out the wide band O2 sensor from Tech Edge. This was device was developed by people on the DIY-EFI list.

"Since there is no emission control system on the 85's," - not true.

I don't completely understand your question? Emissions control system includes catalytic converters. Did you mean "mixture control?"

There's a neat K&N kit out there with a built-in gauge to use for tuning. I'm not sure of it's accuracy range though...

Wayne,
This is a MY 1985 RoW 930 motor. All it had (and I emphasize "had") were the air injection hardware. No cats, no lambda, no DME.

You would find it difficult to find anything that resembles a complete engine, at this time....

I notice the NTK wide band sensors have 5 wires. Can these be used with a regular 3 or 4-wire type O2 sensor guage? Or... does anyone make a wide-band 4-wire sensor?
