Has any of you modified an R muffler?

I was inspired by a post from stubble88!
I have this set which I think is an R combination (?)

Anyhoo, I intend to use it for my new engine upgrade but it is definitely too noisy for the street. (although I'm guaranteed to love the sound I'm sure!)
So my question is: have any of you "played" (modified) - with such a beast? and what are your experiences?

Regarts, Mads

Send a PM to Aaron (BURN-BROS). We were just talking about this muffler a few days ago. I think he was quite pleased with the results.

I think your challenge might be the small runners on the heater boxes your biggest challenge.

First: you're a damn cool guy Henry!
next: We have a deal! I just need to read up a bit, on those pistons (if one can "design" a bit on them, for one's own specification)
Last: yep, I know they are a bit on the small side ... They were intended for my engine at the time it was going to be a 3.2 l, and more of a fuel economy thingummy.....

hmm ... I have the feeling that I didn't understand you correctly ... is it the Ø on the exhaust you meant, or is it the length of the "collector" style spacer between the manifold and muffler?
