Pin placement question
I am a bit puzzled about the pin placement. Ive read somewhere that pin placement is an issue when going from 2.2 to 2.4? Is it related to the different lenght of rods/crank of the 2.2 vs 2.4? Are the pistons physically the same
apart from comp ratio? Id assume so, as Wayne suggests in his book to put 2.2S pistons into a 2.4S case, making it way better than 2.4S. Am i finally getting something right???? - A complete novice still puzzled by that simple 911 rebuild operation.....

The rods are different between the two engines, and as a result, the wrist pin holes in the pistons changed. This is because the deck height needs to be the same for the pistons. I can't recall which pistons are closer to the edge, and I don't have a set available here to check...
