Good morning everyone,
Does anyone know the part number of the hydraulic chain tensioner rebuild kit? Thanks David |

Jerry Woods tensioner upgrade
Is the hydraulic chain tensioner even needed if I'm going to add the Jerry Wood upgrade

Hard to believe that no one makes oil pressure fed chain tensioners rebuild kits.

I haven't seen one. And the little air bleeds at the top seem to always go missing somewhere inside the engine too. I've always just priced out another set for customers.

Nothing to rebuild on these. Not at all like the early ones. If the working piston looses its seal, the part is toast. No rings or O rings involved in this.
Disassembly of these beyond removing the piston part for some reason (like the JWE modification) is as likely to cause damage to one or more of its parts as it is to solve an issue. |
