Following this build!

Out of curiosity why not go with pauter rockers?

They're something like 1.5lbs lighter in all

Except they aren’t anywhere near the 85g they advertise. I bought a set…….. significantly heavier than advertised.

Anything new Sirac? I have a 77 2.7L and I am looking at this build enthusiastically.

Not too many updates but here’s where I’m
At for now.

Installed a billet oil pump screen cover with clearance for the later oil pumps

Installed the Clewett cam sync to match with my EFI ITBs

Installed the fresh oil cooler. Had to clean out the inlet since they left some sand in there. Always check others work.

Mocked up the Burch headers. Not happy with the fit. The heater boxes interfere with the valve cover studs. Working with them on a fix or replacement but it’s been slow.

Mocked up and trimmed the Sheridan shroud. It’s an okay fit, but wish I spent a little more for a better fitting kit with it pre-trimmed.

Mocked up the Throttle bodies from Clewett.
I will be experimenting adapting a drive by wire motor.

3d printing the drive by wire motor adapter before I send it off to get cut.

That’s where it’s at for now. It’s all sealed up and I’m focusing on the body. Stripping it down to prep for sand blasting.

Thanks I appreciate it. Love the amber shrouds and engine surround. I am thinking of DIY pre-preg carbon/kevlar experimentation on forming a shroud and surrounds.

If you do make one in carbon Kevlar I’d be interested
