911 engine rebuilt

Hi All, I need some advice. I am in the process of getting a 1984 Porsche 911 Targa’s engine rebuilt. I have had it aqua blasted and wondered what is the best thing to seal the casing to keep it looking good?

Wrong Image......

Look very closely at your motor. You posted the mirror image of your motor. This motor does not exist in the real world. Were you trying to trick the viewers?

Partial credit. Was in a 911 from China or Australia.

I'm curious to know how they cleaned out all the blast media.. do they remove every single plug in the case?

A product called ACF50 works well .. soaks in for corrosion resistance .. leaves a surface layer to help keep muck off.

AND oil squirters…plenty of engines out there that have failed from debris leftover from vapor blasting

This is why I've refrained from having engine cases media blasted.
I have a case at the moment that is getting all new squirters but I am still not prepared to have it blasted.

As for having the OP case protected... could it be "clear cerakoted"?
Mask off all the mating surfaces etc and use the air-dry version of clear cerakote?
