Where to recondition 3.2 crankshaft

I bought a used 3.2 crankshaft to eventually replace the one in my '84 with a damaged snout. I want to go ahead and get it reconditioned so it's ready when the time comes, but I'm in no hurry.

Where are the recommended go-to places for this? Is CCR still working out of TX? Marine Crankshafts in CA? Others?

I liked Armando and CCR. Seeing you’re not in a hurry, quality is choice.
Might repair your 84 nose....

Armando might have a reputation for quality, but he is not a good businessman. We sent him over a dozen cranks to do and we ended up having to have a local customer go collect them from him after he had them for over half a year and many failed promises. He doesn't answer his phone and his voice mail is always full. Just understand this if you do have him do work.

I used Mile High Crankshaft Repair in Denver after spinning a rod bearing.

I’ve used CCR and Marine and they’re both good. Of the 2, I have slight preference for CCR though.

Like I said earlier, and others have said. Marine Crankshaft is the place to go. NO drama, Reasonable turn arounds, high quality work. An actual proper business.... Far from a one man band.

Not saying Armando does not do great work, but as a business we can't screw around, and have a situation like Charles at LN had..... Search the forums, not just his one, and see if you want to send your crank there...

Cheers
