New head stud question

Have a 2 liter preparing to build for street use. Will have S pistons, head work and cams.
Case work done and head stud replacement decision pending….
No inexpensive solution but trying to get value/ safety/ reliability in selection.
Any input on reasonable product solution (head studs) appreciated.
Thanks

2.0 there is nothing wrong with the steel factory studs in place.
You’re looking to the problems of the over heated 2.7 that has case problems with pulled threads..not a problem with 2.0.

Head stud reply

Bruce….exactly what I was asking. Most people are building later engines where non stock head studs are the rule not the exception due to issues well known to most everyone. To me there is such a thing as overkill and was/am trying to sort through that. Thanks for your input.

What cylinders are you using ? if they are Nikasil I would use the Dilavar studs , same rate of expansion .

Richey, at this point, almost everyone who has or had engines with Dilavar studs has had broken ones.

With a 2.0 there was no heat and expansion concerns
2.0 T used cast iron cylinders.
