I’m an idiot and left my cam gears wrapped up in my chains on the block so he didn’t see them.
But my tensioner gears are toast. Tensioner gear on L side had the chip. Maybe why my tensioners are failing?
I’ll send him pics.

this pic of the valve guide makes me wonder how many miles are on the engine ? On engines i`ve done with over 200 k miles did not look as bad as this one..maybe wrong valve guides material was used on rebuild??And also quality of fuel is the question..?

As a point of reference on the rod bearings... below are ones i took off my motor after 100 race hours (engine hour meter "on" >3,500 rpm). factory shells, 102mm w mahle 11.7 pistons, 964 crank cross drilled, gt3 oil pump, 90% of time at WOT is 6k to 7.5k, brad-penn 20-50. ...rod caps on top.

Awesome. Thanks for that.
You have a pic of your pistons and cylinders?

News keeps getting worse as I go on this motor:

Disassemble Cam tower assemblies. Ea.
Disassemble,Clean, Inspect & Evaluate 3.2 Carrera Heads. ( Heads have seen some serious abuse. Extreme Heat cycles. Badly damaged Exhaust guides from possible lean mixtures and hard running. Some guides are "Burned-Off" in the ports. NEVER Seen it this bad. Ex. valves are heat-checked and tapered at the Port end of the stems! All Exposed Spark plug threads are burned back! 2 X Plug holes have been cross-threaded and are junk! May require welding Intake valves have Very Lean Burn/Carbon, are in spec. AASCO Racing Valve springs Etc. should be OK to run again! Sleeves have been installed in the Ex. Port steps and are very Heat pitted. )
R&R Exhaust Valve Guides ( Ea.) " Includes machining guide O.D. to fit Ea. head bore. & installation. Reaming and Diamond honing for proper clearance.
Repair damaged spark plug threads "Ea." ( We will try this first. to see if it's Enough )

Clean & Inspect Cam towers " Ea." ( towers are a bit rough,,, but should be OK to Re-use. Waaaay too much gasket sealer used! ) Pressure flush cam towers and spray bars. ( BOTH OK!!!! )
Resurface 911 Cam towers. Ea.
Hone 911 Cam tower rocker shaft bores. ( Ea. tower) " Includes Polishing Cam bores "
Final-Clean Pressure flush cam towers and spray bars. " Ea." You could do this.)
Inspect & Evaluate 1 X 3.2 Connecting Rod. ( Why do we have this Rod? )
Clean, Inspect & Evaluate Pistons & Cylinders. ( unknown piston type. Seem to be in fair condition. But the Piston to cylinder clearance is over .2mm. Common race clearance is more like .09mm. And the "Ovality" is over .05mm. Max. Allowed on Nikasil is .04mm. )
