Tool Loan Needed

Anybody have the Snap-On head stud remover they would loan me? It's the collet style with 10X1.5 insert. I'll pay shipping both ways. I'm in Houston

Baum has an inexpensive one that I prefer to the chunky SnapOn one.

28K-10 "STUD PULLER-SQUEEZE TYPE-10mm"

stud puller

Bob,

Where are you in Houston? I have to do a quick job there this weekend.

Hey Chris do you know of any online stores where I can find one of those Baum stud pullers?

Baum Tools carries it but I don't of anyone else who does. Even Baum doesn't seem to know they carry it unless you give them the part #. I don't know who actually makes it, there aren't any markings on it. The 8mm size is also very handy.

I went to their site and it looks like they dont sell 'em there as well.

Is there any particular walk in store to buy this BAUM tool?

I already have my damaged head studs out and really only need the tool to install the new ones.

My friend JanusCole had the same problem. He had difficulty just picking up the phone and calling Baum...

Make sure you give them the part # or you will have a difficult time convincing them that they even sell that tool. I think they go for around $25-30 each.

Baum doesn't make their own tools. Somewhere out there there is probably another source but until then Baum is the only place I know of that carries it. You aren't going to find "Baum" tools anywhere.
