2.7 Rebuild options?

Getting ahead of myself but I am curious since I didn't have any luck in my search but trying to learn more about 2.7 rebuilds.

Was reading Bruce Anderson's book and he suggested two options for rebuilding a 2.7.

1) 95mm Euro RS p&cs, 911E cams, and Weber 40IDA carbs. OR

2) replicating an RS engine. So if I read right, basically, going Carbs or MFI?

Priceout:
95mm Euro RS p&c - $5K
911E cams - $2K
Weber Carbs - $4k
MFI Pump - $4K?

I'm just curious what the cost/benefits of each.

***if this has already been discussed, someone please direct me to the thread***

It’s hard to throw enough money at a 2.7 mag case because you’ll be into the SC costs and never reach the value of the aluminum motors.
Option, 2.8 and JEs 9.5/10.0 cr
Solex grind cams and some carbs
