CIS to DME
I'm working on a swap from CIS to DME/EFI on my 1982 911 SC. What I need to know is, can I hook up the DME computer to everything except the speed, position, TDC, and temperature sensors and expect it to work? I don't want to have to swap the flywheel to get the new sensors and I intend to add a distributorless ignition at some point anyway. The new (1984 3.2)intake has a mass flow setup from Autothority but those guys won't answer my e-mails. I don't know the electronics well enough to be sure the system will work. Any information or a wiring diagram of the computer internals would help.
Thanks!

A Motronic DME will not work without speed, refernce and temp sensors. It uses RPM among other things to determine the amount of fuel and to control the spark. You don't need the TDC sensor though, it is testing purposes only. On a 3.2 the TDC sensor isn't even connected to anything.
