CAM lobe irregularity :( Please advise

Hey All,
I posted this the the main 911 group but reallized this may be a better place...
I was doing a valve adjustment on my 964 motor and noticed this pitting on one of my #3 cam lobes. It looks a little like it has always been there, like a void in the casting.? The rest of that lobe looks nice and smooth. Has anyone seen this before? I'm not sure what to think about this... should I pull the cam out?

THANKS

It looks to me like pitting on the lobe. What does the foot of the rocker arm look like? I'm no expert on cams. Perhaps you can have it built up and reground as opposed to having to buy a new cam.
