The 1966-68 so-called Solex camshad a right cam with the number:

901.105.110.01

Are you sure about that "1R' part? The list of cam serial numbers in Wayne's book do not have any ending in "1R."

Sorry, no real help here except to say that the number that you see on the camshaft is the casting number. This is NOT the part number. You have the same issue with the case itself and the heads. There are probably more examples of this but these are the most common.

Definitely sure. I was searching for a 964 RSR head and that search made me intimately aware of the Porsche parts catalog.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I have seen that casting number more than a few times. If it has an S stamped on the front it is an early S right bank cam.

well It 's stamped "S" and the other one "SE" on the end , then it seems to be S cams ? I will compare with my E cams next week when I will dismount the block.
