Thanks for all your help

This bulletin board is the greatest. I have started my engine (with no small help of this group) and it runs well.

Thanks for all the help!

Wayne, your books are the best “how to” books I have ever read. Being an network engineer I have read many “how to” books, but what you did was take a complex machine and break it down to where anyone can do a rebuild.

It has been 18 years since I rebuild an engine and the help from Wayne’s books and the help I have gotten from this bulletin board allowed me to have an engine that runs with no apparent problems!

I have always wanted a Porsche, and this group and the books have made this dream become a reality.

I hope I can contribute, in some small way, to help others who need that little encouragement and the knowledge of what part goes where (and also what is not necessary).

I also hope I can soon meet other Pelicans (Pelicannites?) and be able to share our pleaser of owning a Porsche.

Thunder Denton

I guess I should say...

Special recognition goes to the following user (in no particular order):

Wayne at Pelican Parts (again your books are the best)
Kurt V
lparker
john_cramer
350HP930
john walker's workshop
Britwrench (yes I read the response and corrected my misconceptions).
ChrisBennet

Thanks again,

Thunder Denton

Glad to hear you got it up and running! Nothing more nerve wracking than when you first turn the key waiting for the engine to start after the rebuild.
