deoxford, What is your goal? A racer? A show car? A daily driver? Other? I'm assuming you have the '72T MFI engine coming out of the car and a complete '73T MFI engine going in. In that case it is very easy. You will need to switch the oil pipe/hose assembly that goes under the engine. The big hose at the cooler should hook (clamp) right up. You need to confirm that the alternator is the same type as the voltage regulator. A safe way to go is to put your '72 alternator and engine wiring harness on the '73 engine. There aren't any other "must-do" issues. However there are several "should-do" and "while-you-are-there" issues. The two most important are the chain tensioner upgrade and the clutch. You will want to choose the best heat exchangers. You will want to clean everything and make it look original new. More. What is the known condition of the '73T? Have you inspected the sump screen? Have you done a cylinder leak test (it can be done with the engine out of the car)? How complete is everything? Why is the '72T engine coming out? Has the '72T been running recently? How well? More? Best, Grady gradyclay@hotmail.com

Clay,
Thanks for the help! this is a weekend car, not show but i hope it will look good. The 72's engine was shot when I got it, i bought the 73 car with the good engine to put in the 72. I just sent off the 72 engine and then I thought about the fact that the oil coolers were different. Great timing. So now I need to get the oil hose back from the guy i sold the engine to, Thanks again for the help
