weber 46 ida jetting
I dynoed my 2.8 twin plug to check some jetting changes. It's running rich 10:1+ from 4100 - 5600 rpm. I'm currently using 140 air correctors and thinking of going up in size. Not sure how much to go up before I would notice a difference. Any suggestions?
150 mains 140 air correctors F3 emulsion tubes 60 idle 36mm chokes. Thanks. |

This is the set-up PMO recommended for my 2.8, and it has been working extremely well for me:
Venturies: 36mm Main Jets: 160 Idle Jets: 60 Air Correction Jets: 180 Emulsion Tubes: F3 (9.5:1, S-cam, SSI and dual out) JP

I had 180 air correctors in there, it was suggested to try the 140's. I'll drill the 140's out to 160 and try that.
9:1 I think (p.o's best guess) runs fine on pump gas sc cams, headers, sport muffler. 221 r.w.h.p. / 255 @ flywheel '74 RSR clone w/2.8 ('75 Carrera) track car '73 targa w/3.2 (for sale) '73 S coupe '68 v.w. crewcab w/2.4 & 5 sp.
