See Pic- odd spec for cam towers/rocker?

Is anyone aware of a spec for the cam tower (where rockershaft sits) to the side edge of the rocker arm?
In case it's out of spec it can rock or hop during it's rotational motion. Trying to figure out if I should eye ball it or if it's a tighter spec that I wouldnt see. I havent seen the spec listed.

Thanks

Harold

The car is a 1979 SC with a 3.0. This is the clearance spec on either side of the rocker arm to the cam tower.

Harold.

The distance between the "virtual" cam tower and the side of the rocker arm as shown in the pic.

C'mon guys, someone must have the spec for this. I'm very curious too. There must be a spec for the thrust clearance between the rocker and cam tower rocker arm support.

you didn't specify a year, so i can't comment on engines outside the years i have access to information for...

but the '69->'71 spec book says rocker arm end play from 0,100mm to 0,350mm; wear limit 0,50mm

(p32)

I wonder if they mean side or if that is on each end instead of each side. Looks close to the adjustment spec for valve adj.
