69 "E" stacks, big?
The stock stacks from my 69' E are quite a bit bigger at the top than the 2.2 "S" stacks, and much bigger than the 2.4E stacks. Has anyone else seen this?

Yep. Unless you're running an S motor, you'll actually pick up some power by running the smaller stacks.
Even a 2.4S motor will make more power below 6,800rpm with the later, smaller (plastic) T/E stacks.
