Timing chain sprockets

Is it worth swapping over the timing chain sprockets (the ones on the end of the cams), like installing the right one on the left and vice versa. Mine are hardly worn and I thought that if I swappped them over this way, the new chains will be bearing on a new relatively unworn surface on the sprockets. After all they are interchangeable.

Cheers

Since you have to flip the sprockets you will still be wearing the same side
