BPU for turbo porsches

What are some basic performance upgrades for a 930 3.3T? This question pertains to hp and engine modifications. From my expierience with turbo cars bpus mean mods that are needed to upgrade to a larger turbo(s). Im assuming it would be exaust, boost controller, intake, and some sort of fuel injection with an afc. Then there are other variables in different cars that would require upgrading if the stock setup couldnt handle the increase in cfms from a bigger turbo. From the 930s that ive seen with aftermarket turbos many of them had aftermarket intercoolers as well. I know very little about these cars but the more I learn about them the more curious I get and this was just one question I had in mind.

In addition to doing a search you might want to check out the link in my sig.

There is a bit of good 930 info here on this board.

Some basic upgrades would be:-

Aftermarket headers and muffler
A K27 Turbo (K27-7200 ~ 450HP or K27 High Flow ~ 550HP)
Aftermarket Intercooler
1.0 Bar Boost Spring
Appropriate fuel enrichment mods

Some more extreme bolt-on upgrades are:-

Convert from CIS to EFI Manifold
Run aftermarket Engine Management System

Internal engine mods:-
Twin Plug the heads
Machine heads for 7.5:1 C/R
ARP/Raceware headstuds and rod bolts
Perhaps even a 3.4L or 3.5L big bore P&C kit
964 Crank
More aggressive CAMs

With the above EFI mods, you'll probably need a bigger more efficient Turbo than a K27, so perhaps a Hybrid Turbonetics or Garrett unit

Hope that helps
