ITB's on a 3.2
Is there anything to be gained from adding ITB's to a 3.2 with aftermarked EFI and better flowing exhurst, with no other internal mods except 964 cams? Engine already as ARP rodbolts so could anything be gained from rasing the RPM with this setup?
Thanks steve

Steve:
FWIW,......we installed our own tall ITB intake system on a totally stock 166K mile, 3.2 motor with SSI heat exchangers and Monty muffler. We used DTA engine management to tune the motor and got 249 HP at the crank. The baseline runs with the OEM intake resulted in 217 HP so the gains were certainly worthwhile. ![]()

Do you think the use of 964 cams could further increase this?
Steve
