2.2 T carb set up??
Can someone tell me what a good set up (starting point) for some Weber 40's for 2.2T would be?
The carbs I have now have the following; Idle____50 Mains__ 135 Airs ____180 Venturi__32mm If they will not work what is a good place to get the new pieces ![]() Cheers ![]()

You can get the parts from PMO if they are not available from Pelican.
BTW - What emulsion tubes do you have? Do you have any issues with the way the engine ran with that jetting?

New carbs (to me) going on a new to me 2.2 engine.
I don't know what the emulsion tubes size are. I'll check with PMO.

PMO supplied me carbs for my 2.2T and they came jetted as
follows: venturi 32 main 130 Air 200 Idle 55 Emulsion tubes F11 to run on 91 RON fuel from, car operates from sea level to 2500 feet, and ran great. interestingly enough richard recommended the same settings would be fine for my soon to be completed 2.4 with 2.2s pistons and e-cams for street. for a step (racing etc) up he recomended the following for the 2.4e+ venturi 34 main 135 Air 190 Idle 55 Emulsion tubes F11 (or F16) hope this helps. nathan |

Thanks..
Do you guys think it is worth trying to find someone looking for my set-up, from a 2.4L and swaping them for their 2.2 set-up? I have 2.2 and don't think what I have will work. I'll start looking for the correct pieces. Cheers
