Question Blocked #3 MFI Injector Problem

Hi,

I have a 1972 911T with MFI in original condition that I am working on. I have had an intermittent problem which I think is caused by the fuel injection system - sometimes it runs smooth and at other times it runs like its missing. I have been following the Check Measure and Adjust documentation and changed the pulgs points and hoses and I may have a unique problem.

Has anyone had a blocked injector which caused the MFI Injection Pump piston to stick?

I noticed raw gas coming out of cylinder number 3 where the injector goes into the head while the car was running. I took everything a part and found out that the #3 piston in the the MFI pump was stuck in the up position. I replaced the injection pump with a another one and the car ran fine. Then several weeks later the problem is back with the new injector pump and before I tear everthing apart again I thought I would talk with the MFI experts on this board for any advice.

Thank you for your suggestions, Bob
