For the BMW book I'm writing - can someone shoot me a pic of some worn rod bearings showing the brass underneath? I can't believe I don't have a picture of this, but I've combed through my 12,000 pics from the Engine Rebuild book and the 101 Book, and I seemed to have missed that.
Either that, or if you have a worn bearing that fits that description, I'd love it if you could mail it to me at Pelican. Many thanks! -Wayne

If not today, its only a matter of time before I will come across a rod bearing that has worn through to the copper backing.
