Time-Serts work well in that application. Belmetric in Tyngsboro sell the kit$ and the inserts.

Hi Adam,
The "normal" size TimeSert should work. The stud sticks into the head 17mm and the "normal" TimeSert measures 11.6mm long. There is a longer TimeSert (almost 17mm long) but I would be afraid that the hole wouldn't be deep enough to accomodate the drill and tap for that insert. If you don't mind coming up to Nashua NH I'll lend you my kit. (The kits are quite expensive.) -Chris

Chris,
I live in Danvers, MA so it would be no problem to swing up there. I appreciate the offer. What else will I need to purchase to compliment your kit? Adam
