911SC Cam nuts
Is there any issue with using an impact wrench/socket to remove the 46mm cam nut instead of doing it by hand with P202/203?
Thanks! Brian |

If you're replacing the chains or you can do it with slack in the chain, no problem. You just don't want to be tugging on the chain hard with every impact. If you will be assembling the cams you'll want the tools so if you're going to get the tools anyway...
In the interest of completeness, I see no problem using an impact on the later style cam bolts to remove them or snug them up while timing the cams. The mass of the cam is such that you could hold the sprocket with your fingers and impact the bolt. -Chris

Thanks. Worked like a charm. I slackened the chain first in case. THe cam barely moved under torque too.
