Does anyone have a template for lightening a 915 flywheel?

I know its an odd question to ask but I am getting ready to put my 3.2L Carrera engine back together and I thought about lightening my flywheel instead of buying the $$$$ aluminum ones. I have seen some creative work done on the early 915 flywheels which is what I have on my 76 911 Targa. Anyone? Opinions are welcomed.

Best Regards,

Alex

What you will find when trying to machine a stock Porsche Carrera flywheel is that it is very hard. The only way we have found to lighten these flywheel is with water jet cutting.
Your best bet to lighten a Carrera flywheel is to buy a Sachs Power clutch. The pressure plate housing is aluminum instead of cast iron.
