Powdercoating is a good thing

Just got my powdercoated parts back. All sheetmetal, fan and fan housing are gloss black. Valve covers are crinkle semi-gloss black. I sanded the logo and ribs down to the metal for contrast. This is the tail end of my engine project. A 2.7L w/9.5:1 JE'e and Ecams. Induction plan is currently carbs, but I'm getting sidetracked by various combinations of fuel injection.

Be shure to sand the gasket side of the valve covers FLAT, or you risk having oil leaks Ask me how I know

Thx Chad,
Should be a great semi-hot street motor. More pix and soundbites to come. Carbs are off. I've got some interesting induction stuff I'm currently playing with. Could end up in either great results or a big garage fire.

Al
