Interesting engine
Are those rubber hoses on the CIS Intake manifolds, or did the owner paint them black?

I can still see the rubber intake boots at the top - wouldn't need them if the entire length was rubber. I'm sure that the standard intake tubes have been painted black.

That is a 73.5T CIS motor, the runners are steel painted (factory) black.

Mudman is right. The 1973.5 CIS motor has black intake runners.
