How to rebuild turbo scavange pump??
Has anyone rebuilt one of these? Any tricks to it or pitfalls? Since I got the engine apart figure I should look into this, plus I think it may be leaking a little around the shaft.
...did search and couldn't find anything. --Joe |

There were seals for the pump in my gasket set when I rebuilt my 1977 930. I pressed out the pin (that is used to engage the allen bolts on the end of the cam) and pulled it apart and replaced the seals. It's a good idea to keep the gears in the same relationship to each other when you reassemble, as they would have worn together over time.
Cheers
