Oil pump price ?
Gents,
I have obtained a GT3RS (996) oil pump and would like to know the value of the pump. It is from a motor that only had 8,000 Kms. Motor was torn down to part out, car was in a reck. It is absolutely in perfect order w/o any wear marks on the inside gears or shafts. I will be tearing my 2.4 motor down and either machine my case to fit this pump or sell it and use the money for other areas needing attention. Just looking for a value and make me an offer if you must ![]() Vr, Bavaria

Yup!
I sure did. I'll sell the pump to someone and they can save $300. I'll call Henry...(or Henry can read this post) and ask what the machine work is and the cost to install the pump into a 2.4 case. Yes, I know it's an over kill, but since I have it.... Thanks, Bavaria911

I agree, if you have it, may as well use it!
Cheers

Pump fitment
We have installed the GT3rs pumps in early alum 2.0 cases thru 964 cases, the webbs for the mains need machining and the floor of the case needs to be checked for room where the additional scavenge picks up, not a big deal with the proper equip.

Thank you for the information. After consulting with our host and talking to a friend, I'll machine the case and use the GT3RS pump.
Thanks to all, Bavaria911

Try not, Do or Do not

The machine work to install the GT3 pump in an early engine is fairly simple. It can be done at home with a die grinder or Dremel tool.
Call and I'll tell you what you need to do. (760) 728-3062 Cheers
