how can I check a 930 transaxle
I bought a 930 roller ( cheap) , with a transaxle, I was told the transaxle is good and has a LSD. Now, how can I tell if its good without having a shop crack it open and check it out? Is there any way to tell what type of lsd is in there ( probably have to crack it open for that ). It would be a shame to get the car running to have to drop the engine again to fix a transaxle problem, so Im guessing it might make sense to have it 'serviced' now. Costs to check out a transaxle? I know it can get expensive if it needs parts. Unfortunately I couldnt really get a history on it. Im tempted to just try it, but a little voice in my head is telling me to spend some money and get it checked.

You won't know until you strap an engine to it and try driving/shifting with it.
