My 993 Rebuild is finished...here are the threads!

I have been posting my progress on Rennlist and thought I would post them on Pelican as well since I have learned a lot here and you guys have helped me a lot.

If you want to skip all the usual rebuild stuff then go to the last posting...its has the startup video!

I posted the first six or seven threads a while ago but I thought I would send out the whole set....

Cheers,

Mike

Part I - Getting Started

Part 2 - Cams and TIming

Part 3 - Heads and SAI Passages

Part 4 - The saga of the valve guides - and Carbon

Part 5 - Into the Depths

Part 6 - Exploring the SAI Passages

Part 7 - Cleaning, Cleaning, Cleaning..

Part 8 - Rods and last minute checks before glue ; - )

Part 9 - Sealing the tomb...

Part 10 - Piston's a pumping

Part 11 - Its all in the timing eh!

Part 12 - Messing up the looks of a clean engine..

Part 13- It would be part 13 eh?

Very nice - you might want to combine all articles up as one PDF and make it available to your fellow rebuilders. It's nice to see the differences between the 993 and the 964 documented.

Cheers,
Ingo

Mike did a nice job on this, I am hoping for a ride in it when it gets out of the paint shop!

Cheers
