G50 Transmission Dimensions
Are the external dimentions of a G50 5-speed the same as those for a G-50 6-speed. Can I assume that the 6-speed G50 will mount into a 964 without the need to modify anything?

The 6-speed G50 fits the 964 chassis just beautifully. You simply need the shifter and shift rod.

My mistake/apology. I was thinking of something else. But I do recall there's a bit of futzing at the front to massage it in there?
