What do I need to make my 2.7 oil cooling system work?

I recently bought a 77 911 that was updated to a C2. It once had a 3.0 motor in it, and it has the oil cooling upgrade with all the lines that run up the right side of the car. Anyway, I have put in my 2.7 from a 76 911S. However, the oil line that runs from the thermostat (from the right side of the car) that use to connect to the 3.0 motor runs all the way up to the back right hand side by the muffler. On my 2.7 the place to connect this line is on the right hand side but up by the firewall. Do I need to replace the oil line itself or do I buy the item on Ebay #4641998937 and install it on my motor and use the line that was for the 3.0.
Also, would the clutch cable that is there that was for the 3.0 be the same as the one I need for this motor.

Thank you for any help/ \

I REALLY WANT TO DRIVE THIS CAR, and I will be sure to post pics of my baby's

Nathan
