Piston Oil Squirters?

In doing a top-end rebuild, is there anyway to force solvent through or clean the piston oil squirters without splitting the case halves? Anyway to test them to see if they are freed up?

I can't think of anyway to plug all the openings you'd have to plug. I wouldn't want solvent in my oil system either.

I have got my case split but four of the squirters are blocked and I can't seem to force solvent down them using the pressure of the spray can. Any tips or good ideas would be appreciated.

Steve

Bottom line you'll need more pressure than a spray can will put out. 30psi I think is what opens then.

I never did get mine freed up. I ended up rplacing 4 of them. 3 wouldn't pass anything and one was very slow.
