Green Oil Light - 74 911
I got my car back from the body shop. The Oil indicator is GREEN. I did not have this condition before. I do have a two wires that are loose. They are in the rear by oil tank. The three sensors -(1) rear driver side and (2) read passenger side have wires attached.
Help is greatly needed. Wires? What sensor controls the Oil Green Light? |

The light is controlled by the switch at the rear of the engine,
The gauge is controlled by the pressure sender at the front of the motor. The oil level gauge is controlled by the two wires at the tank - they should connect to the oil level sender. Pull your gauge and make sure that they did not put the wrong light in the socket. (like an instrument illumination light) AFJ

Right, the small oil pressure switch at the front of the engine (flywheel end). Check the Rebuild Book for pics...
