well...
lol my case is actually from a 3.3L Turbo.... and i'm not 100% sure, but i always thought that it was the same case used on the n/a 911's also. there are other members of the forum running 100mm P&C's, and Christ Streit is running an even shorter, short stroke, of 3.3L's, using 100mm bore with a stock 3L crank (70.9?). And he races his very very competatively, and only realiblity issues he speaks of is that of his 915 transmission, as with the new found power and brutal flogging (he does some enduro races), he has hand grenaded his tranny...lol. personally, i've only driven mine about 300kms, i kept a close eye on the oil pressure and temperature...and was listening and feeling for _______. i can tell you, that rolling onto the throttle above 2800rpm is a wild crazy experience, even from 2-3000 there is lots of pickup, allowing for easier highway passing. however i seem to resonate in that same rpm range is i gennerally run a gear up...and its more fun ![]() I'm sure there are people on this form who could tell u a lot more about reliabity issues of a 100mm bore, however with twin plugging and proper oil cooling, the only remaing issue is cyclinder wall thickness, and as raplh, jeff and other have said before me, that only seems to be an issue with highly boosted cars. happy motoring Nick

my 3.0 is twin plugged, with huge dual oil coolers. I run a lot of SCCA races, and the 3.5 is not an accepted displacement. 3.4 would probably my best bet.
